| I was supposed to go to the Underoath/Thrice show last night, but the fucking line was all the way around the building, and they were sold out well before me, justin, kelly, alex, and chad got there....oh well, I dont like Underoath that much to want to see them live, oh well, i had better things to do anyways...Well, the band is going to practice this week, and it looks like im going to have to get stuck with playing the drums again, the band pretty much unanimously voted one of the guys in our group to join. His name is Wes, and he's a pretty cool guy, hopefully he'll be able to learn our songs quickly, cuz i really wanna get this band up and running successfully as soon as possible... | | |
| I should be getting my computer fixed either tomorrow afternoon, or wednesday afternoon, depending on when FedEx delivers the thing i need to fix my comp. I went to a party over the weekend, it was pretty cool, i didnt do much there, just hung out and played a little guitar, but i ended up going home at like 7:30 Sunday morning, it was pretty funny. God damnit i hate daylight savings time, yesterday took soooooooooooooooo fucking long to be over, plus i didnt do anything cuz i was still tired from being up all night, it was just one of those days that were very boring and i didnt do anything. Well, idk when the next band practice is, but Scott and I have been working on new riffs for new songs, as well as trying to put some final fill riffs for Casualty of Formality, but other than that, the band hasnt really practiced since we lost Andrew, but hopefully, we'll get something working before too long.... | | |
| We dropped Todie from the band a few weeks ago and immediately replaced him with Randy Cornelio, who is a much better lead guitarist. We have also added Will Brooks to the band as the drummer, and im taking over as the bassist. As of lately, ive written more to the guitar riffs for Casualty of Formality, i have also written the lyrics to a new song titled; "Broken Reflections." I'm still working on getting some guitar music written for it, eventually, something will come to mind. I have no idea when the band is going to get together, most likely it will happen next week or so. I should be getting my computer fixed by next week so ill be back on and post a new message later..... | | |
| Andrew quit the band a few days ago, he said something about not feeling the vibe anymore, so he's gone, and now were working on replacing him with a new bassist. we havent really figured out who is going to replace him, but i have about 4 people in mind, and scott knows a few people, and we'll see about getting a new bassist ASAP. Anyways, the band is going good, we havent practiced much lately, but todie has written some new guitar music, and i added some bass to it, he's supposed to give me some drum music for this new song were working on, but i havent gotten it yet, so when i get it, i'll see if its as good as he says it is. Last night i wrote a new song on the guitar, its relatively simple with a few tricky parts, but im keeping it under wraps for a while until its ready to be heard by outsiders. Yea, my computer is also fucked up again, this time, i cant fix it by using my ingenuity, so i have to call in a pro, but i dont know when ill get it fixed, because im a big procrastinator on technical shit like that so it'll get fixed when it gets fixed... | | |
| well, the band didnt practice on friday as i expected, and justin and i didnt even go to ozzfest, his damn dad was being a car-Nazi and wouldnt give it to us to go there, but anyway, we're having a practice on friday, and hopefully we'll have a finished copy of Casualty Of Formality done by then, i may even record the demo, unless i forget to which is what im thinking that i'll more likely do... | | |
